Account Deletion

Account deletion is permanent and immediate. Once confirmed, your data cannot be recovered.

How to Delete Your Account

You can delete your Ally account directly from within the app at any time. There is no need to contact support first.

  1. 1. Open the Ally app on your device.
  2. 2. Tap the Settings icon in the bottom-right corner of the dashboard.
  3. 3. Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
  4. 4. Read the confirmation prompt, then tap Delete to confirm.

Your account and all associated data are permanently deleted immediately after confirmation.

What Gets Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed from the service:

Parent account & profile
Deleted

Your parent record and all profile information are permanently removed.

Child profiles
Deleted

Removed if you are the only parent. If a co-parent exists, your access is removed while the child profile remains for them.

Child devices & app blocking rules
Deleted

All paired devices and configured blocked app lists are deleted.

Tasks & missions
Deleted

All tasks, task history, and bonus missions are deleted.

Task photos
Deleted

All photos submitted as proof of completed tasks are deleted.

Smart Routines & schedules
Deleted

All configured blocking schedules and routines are deleted.

Activity history
Deleted

All screen time activity and usage records are deleted.

Invitations
Deleted

All sent and received co-parent invitations are deleted.

Profile photos
Deleted

Parent and child avatars stored in our system are deleted.

Subscriptions

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your App Store or Google Play subscription. Please cancel your subscription separately through your device subscription settings to avoid future charges.

Can't Access the App?

If you are unable to log in to the app to delete your account, email us and we will process the deletion manually within 30 days.

Include the email address associated with your Ally account.

Data Retention

Deletion is immediate after confirmation in the app. We do not retain backups of deleted user data beyond our standard infrastructure backup window of up to 30 days, after which all deleted data is permanently purged from our systems.
